Hello everyone!
You've been gone for over a month and your opening line is "Hello everyone"?
Well, yeah..I mean..what else am I supposed to say? That I was extremely busy this past month and barely read a thing? Or that I've been wanting to update since the beginning of January but I haven't because I was afraid that all the nice people on Typepad would be all mad at me for being a bad blogger and not updating more often?
Yes. You could have said precisely that.
I kinda just did.
Well..yes. Chip chip, cheerio.
...I don't know why my inner voice has an English accent. Anywho..
I'm back! For good this time. What I said up there was true ^^^^. The more I put something off, the worse I feel, and the less I actually want to do it. So..basically..I just give up altogether. But nope, not this time. I came back! And I have more books to read then ever! So shall we start again? (not all over, but from where we were before) Alright! Here we go!
Onto book numero 12: Bird by Bird by Anne Lamott!
My cousin gave me this book to read in November and it's taken me this long to start reading it. Grrr. But the important thing is that I finally did! I and lurvveee it. The things she writes about are so true! She talks about how when you sit down to write, you have to quiet all the voices in your head and sometimes it can take hours. But, eventually, you figure out what to write and how you're going to write it..and it may turn out really crappily (..that's not a word, is it?) but at least you're getting somewhere.
It's kinda like this post I'm writing: it isn't very good, but, hey. It's a start, right?
